U13s Regional Development Tournament – Trials
The Regional Development Tournament is one of the first steps on the Basketball England player pathway, details of which can be found under the “Performance” tab on the Basketball England website.
We would like to invite your son/daughter to the trials for this year’s Regional Development Tournament for the U13’s.
Head Coach and Team Manager – this year’s U13 Head Coach is Eddie Owusu (from Winchester Royals) and his Team Manager is Beth Owusu.

Regional Eligibility – A player is eligible to play for a region, if they were born in 2005 or 2006 and they fulfil two of the following;
 Live in the Region (Berkshire, Buckinghamshire, Hampshire & IOW and Oxfordshire).
 Attend a School/College is in the region
 Play for a club in the region
Nationality – The player must have a British passport/birth certificate or be in the process of applying for naturalisation as a British citizen (proof may be requested by Basketball England at least one month prior to tournament date).
If your son is selected they will be invited to a series of training sessions leading up to the tournament, the date of which is 7th / 8th July 2018 at The National Basketball Centre Manchester.

The trials and training sessions will take place on the following dates

PRE-SELECTION TRIALS: Oxford HOOPS & ONE TEAM Coaches will be selecting players to put forward for TRIALS
Sat 14 April 9am – St Gregory the Great School, Cricket Road, Oxford, OX4 3DR
Tue 17 April 7pm – Oxford Spires Academy, Glanville Road, Oxford, OX4 2AU
